The music is predominantly electronic and instrumental, although some tracks include vocal samples which have been treated with various audio effects. They released their second long-player We Still Have The Stars in October 2008. From influences such as Bass Communion, Brian Eno, David Sylvian, Boards of Canada and Tangerine Dream, the music of Orphidice finds a space between all of these. Coming Home is taken from the second Orphidice album Transit (<a href="http://cdbaby.com/cd/orphidice" rel="nofollow">which you can buy on CD here</a>). The first thing that connected them was their love for post-rock. Their first release, Sometimes We Speak is available to download from mrsvee. It carries a sense of melancholy with a hybrid of sad but zen like beautiful soundscapes and instrumental work. Svefn Plural has started recording new material for a second EP to be released in 2009. more info: <a href="/literallocomotiveman" rel="nofollow">myspace.com/literallocomotiveman</a> <h3>05 sand snowman - twilight of the dogs</h3> (snowman) A strange but beautiful combination of pagan folk and psychedelia, Sand Snowman has released two albums on legendary label Tonefloat. Sand was also one of the contributors to Steven Wilson's acclaimed album Insurgentes. Wilson is returning the favour by singing on the next Sand Snowman album, due in 2009 on Tonefloat. more info: <a href="http://www.myspace.com/sandsnowman" rel="nofollow">myspace.com/sandsnowman</a> <h3>06 goodbye pluto - the hum</h3> (clarke/dobson/marshall/rael/stagg/walmsley) Goodbye Pluto are a six piece instrumental collective based around improvisation. Although they have a general tendency towards ambient space rock, no genre is considered off-limits. The core is Misha Salnikov, gigs are often carried out with friends. Misha has so far released four MOX albums, with another two on the way. The Forming of Emotional Sphere was inspired by DJ Spooky and Carlos Castaneda and is the first track on Early Ganglions, which you can download from mrsvee. more info: <a href="http://www.moxmusik.com" rel="nofollow">www.moxmusik.com</a> <h3>08 electronica ghost voice phenomena - troubled sleep</h3> (rowell) Electronica Ghost Voice Phenomena is Jamie Rowell. Troubled Sleep is taken from his independently released double-album V/Night Time Ambience (download it by clicking <a href="http://www.archive.org/compress/ElectronicaGhostVoicePhenomenaV" rel="nofollow">here</a>). The 3rd Fire blends extreme metal and industrial noise manipulation with heady psychedelia. An EP entitled This Is Raelism is scheduled for release through mrsvee in 2009. more info: <a href="http://www.raelism.co.uk" rel="nofollow">www.raelism.co.uk</a> <h3>12 general paulus - so how far would you go?</h3> (kelly) General Paulus is an Indie band from South London, fronted by main songwriter Gregg Kelly on vocals and guitar. As a solo artist under the name General Paulus, Gregg was joined by Joe Flynn (bass) and Craig Foster (drums) in 2007. mrsvee will be distributing both new and old material by General Paulus in 2009. more info: <a href="http://www.generalpaulus.com" rel="nofollow">www.generalpaulus.com</a> <h3>13 lovers of london - lovers of london</h3> (vincent) Lovers of London is a post-progressive pop band formed in 2006. They are Daniel Vincent (vocals, guitar), Mark Campbell (guitar) and John Boye (bass and acoustic guitars). Occasionally they are joined by Simon Clarke (drums) and Max Rael (piano).
